We take you to a walking tour to see the neighborhoods and the people. Join us for a visit to silk fabric workshop and see how the old hand operated machines work. Come with us, not to just famous historical houses of wealthy ancestors, but also to see where ordinary people lived and worked, even until today. Join our “Garden and Carpet” tour to grasp the meaning of heaven on earth. Come in spring and experience the common event of rose water extraction, a ritual happening in villages of west and south of Kashan.

A fun place for the family

Puppet & Toy Museum Guesthouse pays special attention to families and plans event which all members of the family can enjoy. We have various events happening in the house, such as performances by local and sometimes international artists and Puppeteers. The museum itself includes antique toys, ritual dolls and some of the oldest puppets of Iran which were used in puppet shows as far back as in the Qajar dynasty. We are trying to revive old games and forgotten folk dolls in Iran and also have international handcrafted dolls at the museum which we will tell their stories.

Take part in the entertainment

At this house everyone is ready to start a game or a fun project. We are creating a database of the folk art in Iran, also our place is now an entertaining hub for cultural events. If you like the experience, tell us and join the gatherings to play music, sing, or juggle and playing group games! We also get backpackers, groups of young people and couples without child. The important thing is that everyone gets to enjoy the place and have a good time.

Our staff and Toy Workshop

Our staff at the guesthouse all speak English and are always available for help. They know the city services such as cafes, restaurants, and sightseeing spots very well and always update each other when something new comes up. The museum staff love to tell stories and amuse children with a little food for imagination. We have two people working at the workshop who are also welcoming and can show or help children with assembling parts of a traditional or new handmade toy.
